Our couple had major renovation work prior to moving in, and in the kitchen, they had a dividing wall removed to open up into a living/dining space. The north facing window was raised above worktop height.
In terms of the design, Christine was very set on what she required. This included a run of tall wall units that housed the fridge and freezer, larder storage space and the hidden access to the old ‘under the stairs’ area. She wanted an island but didn’t want either sink or hob on there.
Worktops are the ‘Diore Acrylic’ which allow for a seamless sink, up-stands, and splash-back. Despite being light in colour, they are non-porous, meaning there’s no fear of staining.
Our couple are delighted with the result.
