Mr. & Mrs. Knight originally had a small and dark kitchen. Utilizing their space effectively was a priority and adding innovative storage solutions would give our couple a clutter-free kitchen that would be a pleasure to spend time in. They wanted handleless matt white doors and a pure white quartz worktop to inject light into the space.
Typically white kitchens, without the right design can be cold and clinical, but breaking up the kitchen with the warmth of the beautiful oak our designer, Rebecca, has used, counteracts this. The subdued palette of white doors, pure white quartz and oak furniture alongside the grey walls helps the light bounce around to give some breadth to the room. Our couple have added cutting-edge convenience to their daily cooking with the Neff 900mm Induction hob. Featuring 5 cooking zones in total, this hob can accommodate a variety of pot and pan sizes for a wide range of dishes, essential for those large family meals. The Neff eye level slide and hide oven alongside the integrated microwave gives a mix of style and function as well as delivering on efficiency and convenience. The addition of the neat little wine cooler ensures they will always have the perfect wine ready to accompany any meal. A two-tiered pull-out storage system fits into the corner cupboard as It was important to our couple that they make the most of limited and unused space.
The pendants above the breakfast bar have been added to soften the space, as well as injecting personality. The overall look is elegant, but relaxed – its sociable layout allows for practical family living as well as entertaining.
