Porter H-Line in Matt Graphite

The Design

When I think of industrial styles I always think of dark colours, metals and brick. Easy enough as an idea, but bringing it into reality was challenging. We had to ensure the kitchen was still inviting and not too harsh or cold.

The Porter H-Line in Graphite was the perfect style and colour, now to find the right worktop. The Dekton Trilium was the perfect worktop to compliment the effect we wanted to achieve, and it looks fantastic.

Then came the idea to leave the steelwork exposed but to have it painted to be the same colour as the kitchen, and to add a feature wall to incorporate that brick feel. We played around with some different options, including making the whole sink wall brick, and having the nib painted as well. I think the combination we decided on works perfectly.

The finishing touches like the gunmetal wine cooler, sink and tap also really add to the whole theme. The lighting around the island and the industrial ‘pipe’ light fittings also really compliment the look and helped us achieve the brief we started out with.
