Carole and Dave came in to have a look at kitchens one Sunday afternoon. They were looking to replace their kitchen on a like for like basis, they really wanted to give the room a lift, after deciding on a door style, our designer Andy sat down to mock up an estimate based on the existing kitchen. Carole and Dave liked what they were seeing and hearing, so they decided to ask Andy to come out and measure up, the rest as they say, is history.
The Design
Their existing kitchen style was outdated and tired, the brief was to lift and freshen it up, with something simple but effective. This led us to the Porter Gloss, there was some debate on colour between the Porcelain and the Cashmere, eventually Carole opted for the Porcelain finish, after seeing both options on our 3D CAD software, this helped Carole decide on the colour.
The main areas discussed for change was putting the oven in a tall unit and going for the Single Oven with “Slide and Hide” in addition to the Combi Oven with Microwave, rather than just a standard double oven. Their new kitchen is super sleek and neat and really modernises this family home.
Carole and Dave both lead busy lifestyles, both working and keeping their energetic cockapoo exercised! It’s a family home, full of love. The space for the kitchen/dining has given the room a great modern look.
Soon after it was fitted, Carole and Dave joined us for one our Neff Cooking Demonstration Days. They both thoroughly enjoyed it, Carole got loads of new recipes from our Neff Chef to try out in her new appliances, as well as a much better understanding of how to get the best out of them.
