What a gorgeous space Matt & Tamra have created for their home. It feels open, light, and spacious. The brief was always that the kitchen needed to look grand and befitting of the space created by their extension.
The plan was that the island, being the focal point, needed to be as big as possible, and it most certainly is. At 3 metres wide and 1.2 metres deep, it looks magnificent with Quartz worktops and an abundance of storage space options.
The ceiling has been lowered above the island, dining area to allow for the gorgeous apex roof. We then created the false mantle to hide the steelwork. Matt & Tamra have teamed this beautiful shaker kitchen with oak herringbone flooring which adds warmth to the light colours of the kitchen.
The result is a fabulous extension, with a fantastic kitchen, sofa area and dining table. Perfect for family and friends to come together.
