DESIGNED BY ANDY GILMORE
When visiting Natalie & Scott at home, it became apparent that their existing kitchen space was inadequate for the size of the property. After some discussion with our designer Andy about maximising the space to achieve their dream kitchen diner, it was decided that two of the walls needed to be removed.
There are some fantastic features in this kitchen. One of which, is access to the under-stair’s cupboard. Natalie really wanted to keep this space, so, instead of leaving a gap between the tall units, we took off the internal door and created a ‘false larder’. The unit run looks flush, but actually, the double doors next to the oven allow access under the stairs.
Check out the cloak area. Natalie had asked about a tall unit for shoes, coats etc. Andy found inspiration in the form of a shallow larder to keep dog food, boots etc in, with the seating & wall cladded with T&G panelling and coat hooks, we are sure you’ll agree it looks fabulous.
