We first met Ian and Julie in January 2020, as they were embarking on a project that was much more than just a kitchen and utility. They were knocking down a house, to completely rebuild from scratch, freeing up any restrictions of the original footprint.
The design is centered around a large island, for food preparation and casual seating. The hob area and the major appliances are in the ‘L’ shape space on the back walls, allowing for uninterrupted area to work with on the Island.

Worktops are quartz in Kashmera, light in colour which contrasts nicely with the Partridge Grey kitchen doors and panels. Quartz up stands run around where the worktops meet the walls, and there are two large splash backs to protect the walls behind the hob and sink areas. Appliances are quite subtle, but not understated, there is an abundance of Neff appliances in this kitchen.
The space created for the kitchen also includes a dining and TV area. The finished result is a fabulous living space, with everything needed for everyday life.

Tap
The tap is the ‘Flex’ boiling water tap from Quooker. The ‘Flex’ model allows for a spray function on the normal hot and cold supply.
